The Golden age for Greek yogurt

It is a golden period for Greek yogurt. According to a recent survey ((Greek Yogurt Market by Fact.MR) in 2018 the market value of this product has exceeded 5.6 billion dollars. Furthermore, according to this research is expected a growth of 7.4% in 2019. This is due to the growing popularity of this yogurt, to which the myriad scientific benefits attested to health have contributed. 

Compared to the other yogurts that are filtered twice after fermentation, the Greek one in fact undergoes an extra filtration resulting creamier and more consistent. For this reason, it contains less serum and therefore less lactose, so as to be more digestible and more tolerable.

Join us at PROPAK ASIA - BANGKOK

From 12 to 15 June UNIMAC-GHERRI will be at PROPAK ASIA in Bangkok International Trade Exhibition Centre (BITEC), Thailand. This is one of the largest industry event in Asia for Food, Beverage, Pharmaceutical Processing and Packaging Technology. In the last edition there were 2,000 exhibitors from more than 44 countries and 50,000 trade visitors from 80 countries.

NEXT JUNE WE WILL BE IN MEXICO

From 11 to 13 June 2019 UNIMAC-GHERRI will be present at EXPO PACK MEXICO, the largest tradeshow in Latin America dedicated to the world of packaging. The event covers over 15,000 square meters of exhibition and will have over 800 exhibitors from a wide range of industries such as food, beverages, personal care, chemical, automotive, manufacture of packaging / caps, electronics, pharmaceutical, confectionery, bakery, graphic arts and textiles. More than 16,000 visitors are expected from Mexico and neighboring countries.

PACKAGING: Consumers prefer glass

Jams, pickles and sauces more and more often in glass containers. It is now established that consumers prefer this material and the packaging world is adapting.

As reported by Food Quality & Safety review in the United States, a recent national consumer survey conducted by the Glass Packaging Institute shows that while consumers purchase products in a variety of packaging materials, they prefer glass for its quality, purity, taste, product protection and shelf life.

The packaging industry represented at PROPAK VIETNAM

UNIMAC-GHERRI will participate from 19 to 21 march at PROPAK VIETNAM in Ho Chi Minh City. This is the most important exhibition dedicated to packaging in Vietnam and for the countries in Indochina. The technology of producing and packaging of food, beverage and pharmaceutical products will dominate the fair, as well as the printing and labelling industry, gathering thousands field’s leader and professional from 31 countries in the world. The expo extends onto 9.000 mq and will be 9 pavilions. It is expecting 496 exhibitors and 8.223 visitors from all over the world.

DETROP - International exhibition for food

Greek stop for the UNIMAC-GHERRI team that will take part in the DETROP of Thessaloniki, at the International Exhibition Center, from 2 to 4 March. This is one of the most important events in this area dedicated to the food and beverage industry which has experienced a 15% increase in visitor numbers over time. The main feature of the exhibition was the considerable presence of international buyers hosted, over 300 and that participated in about 5,500 "B2B" meetings targeted with exhibitors.

THE EXPERIENCE IN FOOD PACKAGING AT DJAZAGRO

PRODEXPO 2019 - Our team will stop in Moscow

From 11 to 15 February 2019 UNIMAC-GHERRI will stop in Moscow, for PRODEXPO 2019, the trade show dedicated to the world of food and beverage industry hosted at the Expocenter Fairgrounds in Moscow, Russia. 2,300 exhibitors from 65 countries in the world and 62,000 visitors from over 100 countries are expected.

On this occasion, our company will present its solutions for filling and closing glass containers with twist-off capsules for the packaging of liquid, semi-liquid and pasty products.

UNIMAC-GHERRI will be present at ALL4PACK Paris, from 26th to 29th November 2018. This is one of the most important trade show events for packaging in Europe, where sectors such as food, pharmaceuticals, beverages and cosmetics will be represented.

In these four days 1.350 exhibitors and 80.000 professional visitors are attended.

UNIMAC GHERRI at BrauBeviale 2018

From November 13th to 15th UNIMAC-GHERRI will exhibit at BrauBeviale, in Nuremberg, the trade fair for the process chain of beverage production.

Almost 38,000 trade visitors in 2016, BrauBeviale was the most important international capital goods exhibition for the whole beverage production process chain: raw materials, technologies, logistics and marketing.
